RE:CANVAS M-65 FIELD JACKET "NO WAR" #2

A rework of a genuine military surplus M-65 field jacket that saw actual service.

The original’s scuffs and fading are left as they are, and the back is printed with 《NO WAR》, the main visual of Shusaku Takaoka’s first solo exhibition and a work the artist holds especially dear.

With artwork that calls for peace placed on the back of a piece the military actually used, a garment once worn on the battlefield is now reborn as a symbol of peace.
