Genuine military-surplus M-65 field jackets, once used in service, reworked.
The scuffs and fading of each original are left as they are.
On the back we printed 《NO WAR》, the main visual of Shusaku Takaoka's first solo exhibition
and a work the artist holds especially close.
With an artwork that speaks for peace on the back of a garment that saw real military use,
a jacket once worn on the battlefield
is reborn, now, as a symbol of peace.
