SMOKIN’ FICTION

This edition presents Shusaku Takaoka’s collage work “SMOKIN’ FICTION” as a giclée print in F10 size.

By layering fragments of modern imagery over a sacred portrait, the work creates a structure in which faith and fiction, stillness and impulse intersect.

Images from different timelines interfere with one another, making it an emblematic work that blurs the line between reality and fiction.

The print uses a high-definition giclée process.

It faithfully reproduces the delicate texture and color gradation of the original, giving it the finish of a true art piece.

The frame was made specially for this work.

The mat is a deep green suede, adding a quiet sense of weight and depth.

A heavily ornamented classic frame surrounds the work, heightening the tension of its layered imagery and giving it a strong presence in a room.

This work drew a strong response when it was first shared on social media, and is now offered as a limited edition.
