SMOKIN’ FICTION

This edition presents Shusaku Takaoka’s collage work “SMOKIN’ FICTION” as a canvas print in F20 size.

By layering fragments of modern imagery over a religious portrait, the work creates a structure in which faith and transgression, stillness and impulse intersect.

Elements from different times and contexts interfere with one another, making for a strong image that unsettles the line between reality and fiction.

This work is a giclée print on canvas.

Subtle colors and textures are reproduced with high precision, and the surface texture unique to canvas adds depth and strengthens its presence as an art piece.

A special frame with a solid, substantial feel.

A deep green suede mat paired with a black frame brings out the contrast and tension of the work and gives it a strong presence in a room.
